The Berkley Public Safety Department was seeking resident and community support and donate $30,000 to establish their newest division which encompasses; Officer K-9 Bear; Officer Brian Anderson, the K-9 handler; and Officer Dan Schewe, an experienced K-9 handler who served with his K-9 partner, Xander, for a total of nine years within three different departments and communities.
To boost their promotional presence, we created educational videos on the benefits of a K-9, what the program would provide to the community, and overall expand the capabilities of the team.
The Department was able to raise $65,338.11 which will cover the start-up costs of the program equating to over two years’ worth of expenses.
